You gotta admire the union concession win at a plant in back state New York, that requires that the first day of deer season is a paid holiday. The company has been around since 1903.
Blue Water Bridge Rate Hikes
When prices are dropping at major stores, Blue Water Bridge has decided to raise commercial truck tolls from $1.75 to $3.25 per axle. That is an 86% increase! Amazing!

Detroit Ferry Closed
The truck ferry to Detroit is now closed for 3 months. This could increase the costs of moving hazardous goods into the US.

Although the police will not ticket specifically for failure to avoid use of hand held devices for three months, they can, and will, charge for dangerous driving. That carries huge consequences. You can incur demerit points along with the fine, and it will effect your insurance rates immensely.

There are devices that will read your incoming emails for you. Your cell phone bundle probably sends you a text of voice mail messages.

We are already seeing more and more trucks and cars pulling over to deal with critical issues. Drivers should be careful when pulling back on roadways.
